Yes. FloWater now comes home.
The same 7x Advanced Purification trusted in gyms, offices and hotels now fits in your kitchen. There are two home Refill Stations: the FloWater Classic and the FloWater Essential. Both are available to buy outright.
Here's everything you need to know before you order, from which one fits your home to what happens after it arrives.
The short version:
- Two models: Classic ($8,195) and Essential ($6,150)
- Purchase only. Financing is available at checkout through Affirm and Klarna.
- Running cost: a flat $500 a year for filters, shipping, a certified FloWater technician and a preventive maintenance check
- Your home needs five things: a water line, a drain, a nearby outlet, the right indoor spot and the right water pressure. The checklist is below.
Classic or Essential?
The water is the same in both. You're choosing capacity and speed, not better water.
| FloWater Classic | FloWater Essential | |
| Price | $8,195 | $6,150 |
| Height | 68" | 59" |
| Width × depth | 18" × 16" | 18" × 16" |
| Cold water held | 7 gallons (2 chilled + 5-gallon reserve) | 3 gallons chilled |
| Fills a 24 oz bottle in | about 10 seconds | about 20 seconds |
| Self-sanitizing with | Activated Oxygen | Precision Light Wave |
| Day-to-day upkeep | None | Empty the drip tray now and then |
| Best for | Larger households, home gyms, frequent refills | Smaller spaces, 1–2 people, lower ceilings |
Do they taste different?
No. Both run the same 7x Advanced Purification and add minerals back in, so the taste is the same. The difference you'll notice is speed: the Classic fills a bottle about twice as fast.
Which one should I get?
Go Classic if your household drinks a lot of water, you entertain, you're filling sports bottles for the kids or you have a home gym. Its 5-gallon reserve keeps the cold water coming through back-to-back refills.
Go Essential if space is tight, it needs to fit under upper cabinets, it's one or two of you, or budget is the deciding factor. At 59" it fits where the 68" Classic won't. Its drip tray is emptied by hand, usually a few times a month, so a spot near a sink helps.
How much room does it need?
Leave at least 3" between the Refill Station and the walls, with 6" at the back. In a cabinet, leave 3" on each side and 6" at the rear.
What it costs
You buy the Refill Station once, then pay a flat $500 a year to keep it running at full strength.
| Item | Cost | Notes |
| FloWater Classic | $8,195 | One-time purchase |
| FloWater Essential | $6,150 | One-time purchase |
| White Glove Placement | $500 | Optional, selected at checkout, where available |
| Annual filter service | $500 a year | Filters, shipping, a certified FloWater technician and a preventive maintenance check |
| Labor for repairs | $200/hour, one-hour minimum | Parts are covered in year one; labor isn't |
Can I finance it?
Yes. Financing is available at checkout through Affirm and Klarna. You apply there, and they set your approval, rate and terms.
Can I lease or rent one for my home?
No. Home Refill Stations are purchase only. Financing gets you a monthly payment while you own the Refill Station outright.
Why does it cost what it does?
It's built to last, not to be replaced in a few years:
- Metal side panels, not the plastic housing most point-of-use systems use
- It keeps itself clean. As long as it's plugged in, it sanitizes itself.
- You own it. No equipment payment that runs forever, and no deliveries.
- One running cost: $500 a year. That's it.
Will it work in my home?
Your home needs all five of these. Go and check before you order rather than answering from memory. Five minutes now saves a return later.
-
A water line within 100 feet of where the Refill Station will stand. A sink line counts.
-
A drain within 100 feet. Advanced Osmosis produces byproduct water, and it needs somewhere to go.
-
A three-prong outlet within 6 feet. This is the one that surprises people most.
-
An indoor spot that stays between 40°F and 104°F, out of direct sunlight. A garage works if it stays in that range.
-
Water pressure between 50 and 100 psi. It runs best around 70. Above 100 psi, you'll need a pressure regulator on the supply line.
Can I put it outside?
We strongly advise against it. Weather, temperature swings and rodents cause damage that isn't covered by the warranty. If outdoors is truly your only option, contact us at support@drinkflowater.com before you order.
Can it go upstairs?
Yes, if your own licensed plumber handles placement and the spot meets the checklist. White Glove Placement is first floor only (see below).
I'm on well water. Can I still get one?
Yes, with one extra step. Your water must be tested, confirmed safe to drink, and the full results approved by FloWater before you order. We accept two tests:
You order and pay for the test, then email the full lab report to support@drinkflowater.com. Allow two to three weeks from ordering the kit to approval, so start early.
On city water, do I need a test?
No. Municipal water needs no test.
What about hard water?
It works. Hard water may mean changing filters more often, depending on what comes out of your tap.
From order to first glass
It ships in 3–8 business days. This is a plumbing job, not an appliance you unbox and plug in, so line up placement before it arrives.
- Order and book placement. Choose White Glove Placement at checkout, or book your own licensed plumber now rather than when the crate lands.
- Watch for tracking. You'll get an email when it ships. A signature is required on delivery.
- Receive the freight delivery. It arrives on a pallet. The driver brings it into your garage when the driveway allows, or leaves it at the curb if the approach is too steep or narrow.
- Inspect it right away. Photograph any damage to the crate or the Refill Station and email the photos to support@drinkflowater.com before it's connected.
- Placement. Our technician or your plumber connects the water and drain lines. White Glove takes up to 2 hours; we ask for a 4-hour window.
- Keep the crate until you're settled. Returns must ship in the original packaging.
How heavy is it?
Crated, the Classic weighs about 185 lbs and the Essential about 115 lbs. Plan on a dolly and a second person to move it from where the driver leaves it. FloWater doesn't move curbside deliveries.
What is White Glove Placement?
For $500, a FloWater technician connects your Refill Station for you. Our team emails you from support@drinkflowater.com to schedule, so have a few 4-hour windows ready. To check if it's available where you live, enter your ZIP code on the product page.
White Glove has a few limits:
- First floor only, in a kitchen, garage or laundry room
- Kitchen islands aren't eligible
- The spot must be clear before the technician arrives. They don't move appliances, shelving or stored boxes.
- Placement may involve drilling a 1/2-inch hole in or near a cabinet or wall
What if White Glove isn't available in my area?
Your own licensed plumber handles placement, at your cost. A placement guide ships with every Refill Station for your plumber to work from. We don't recommend doing it yourself.
Living with it
One filter change a year, and we handle it. The rest of the time, it takes care of itself.
How often do the filters change?
Every 12 months or up to 12000 gallons, whichever comes first, or sooner if the touch panel says so. Most homes need one change a year. About a month before it's due, we reach out to schedule. You can also email support@drinkflowater.com or call (877) 772-7775.
What does the $500 annual service include?
New filters, shipping, a certified FloWater technician to fit them, and a full preventive maintenance check. While the Refill Station is open, the technician checks connections, pressure, seals and dispense, so small issues get caught early. No hourly billing, no surprise invoice.
Is there a filter subscription?
No. Filter service is arranged one year at a time.
What if I skip a filter change?
The Refill Station stops delivering full 7x Advanced Purification, and a worn-out filter can damage the Advanced Osmosis membrane behind it. That turns a routine visit into a costly repair that isn't covered.
Can I use my own filters or technician?
You can, but we strongly recommend FloWater filters. Every purification result we stand behind is tested with FloWater filters in their exact sequence. Other filters can put the Advanced Osmosis membrane at risk, and membrane damage isn't covered. If a third party fits something incorrectly, that repair isn't covered, but the rest of your warranty stays intact.
What does it remove?
Up to 99.9% of impurities and contaminants found in tap water. Water moves through sediment and carbon stages, then Advanced Osmosis, then sanitization. Magnesium, potassium, sodium, calcium and trace minerals go back in before you drink it.
Does it change the pH?
It raises it by about 1 to 1.5 points from your tap water. The final pH depends on your local water.
How much byproduct water does it make?
About two gallons for every gallon purified. Many systems on the market run three to four.
What does the warranty cover?
One year from your placement date. Parts are covered on any repair during that year. Labor isn't: it's $200/hour with a one-hour minimum. We confirm the cost before any work starts. If your own plumber placed it, keep the dated bill, since that date starts your warranty. To file a claim, email support@drinkflowater.com with that bill.
What's never covered?
Damage from rodents or weather, anything other than water poured down the drain, vandalism, damage from a missed filter change, and damage to the Advanced Osmosis membrane.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of placement and no more than 90 days from delivery, whichever comes first. Email support@drinkflowater.com to start. If your own plumber placed it, send their dated receipt; without it, the window counts from delivery.
A return costs about $1,800: a $500 restocking fee plus around $1,300 for removal and return shipping. It must come back undamaged, working and in its original crate. Your refund goes out within 30 business days of removal. That's why the five-point checklist matters: most returns are homes that never qualified.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send photos to support@drinkflowater.com before it's connected. Most damage is repaired on site. If it can't be, we replace the Refill Station and cover the return. You pay no restocking fee or shipping.
What home Refill Stations don't include
Home Refill Stations do one thing well: cold, purified still water.
- No hot water
- No sparkling water, on either model or as an add-on
- No leasing. Purchase only, with financing at checkout.
- No free trial
Can I try one first?
There's no home trial. Many FloWater Refill Stations are in gyms, offices and hotels, so you may be able to taste one near you. Ask us where.
I run a business from home. Which option is for me?
If the Refill Station goes in your home, it follows home placement rules and is a home purchase. For a separate business location, request a quote and an account executive will help.
We have a big household or a rental property. Is one enough?
For high demand, you may want more than one Refill Station. Contact us and our team will help you size it.
Will hot water come later?
We aren't offering hot water on home Refill Stations. Tell us you're interested and we'll pass it on.
