Think of it like a spa day for your water. Filters need to be changed under three scenarios:

1. Usage: After 12,000 gallons, your Refill Station’s microprocessor will remind you when it’s time for a filter change, the LCD screen will display the following: “Filter Change Needed in 2-3 Weeks...”. Please note that the "Filter Change Needed" notification is set to provide a warning with up to 4 weeks of life left in the filters so there is no harm in continuing to enjoy FloWater until you are able to have the filters changed.

2. Time: Even if you don’t hit the gallon limit, filters need replaced every 12 months. We’ll remind you before your filters hit their replacement date.

3. Hard Water Areas: If your water is extra hard (full of minerals), your Refill Station might require additional filter changes. If it goes into a “Purifying More FloWater” mode for over an hour, that’s your sign to email support@drinkflowater.com, and we’ll take care of it!
